Hello, My name is Lauren Teknipp, founder curator, and voice behind the fitness and lifestyle blog Saturated Fit! I launched this blog to share my passion for fitness and nutrition and it has expanded to other areas touching on lifestyle and overall wellness. I attend the University of Georgia where I played volleyball. Go Dawgs! Over the years, I have had various coaches, strength trainers, and nutritionists. All of these people have allowed me to learn and perfect all of the health and fitness skills that I use today. The top three most important things in my life are my faith, family, and my health. I am extremely passionate about helping others achieve their wellness goals and I plan to center my future occupation around my passion using Saturated Fit. I believe that adaptation is the key to success, and the best way to develop the ability to adapt is to train our mind, body, and strengths to be as healthy as possible!
If there is one thing I have learned growing up with sports, it is that goal setting is very important. My goal with this website is to develop a platform where I can share tips on how to live a healthy lifestyle. Saturated Fit is a brand and a business that I plan to grow over the coming months/years.

Hi, my name is Samantha Critser. I am majoring in Psychology with a minor in Communications at the University of Santa Clara and I played Division 1 Collegiate Tennis. One of my main inspirations came from motivational speaker Tony Robbins. In speaking to top executives around the world, he began his speech with "I am going to get you in the best shape of your life." Most of these CEOs did not have a habit of regular exercise. After implementing a behavioral change of daily exercise into their life, these executives reported their performance in the business world to be the best it has ever been. Now more than ever, people are realizing that each aspect of ourselves-mind, body, spirit-are all interconnected. Our physical functioning affects our cognitive functioning, thus affecting our social functioning, and cycling back around. My passion falls under researching the interaction of these areas to comprehend how we can transform ourselves into the most physically fit, cognitively productive, and mentally well versions of ourselves.
In relation to this, we live in an amazing time where science is bursting at its seams and tomorrow is filled with unknown breakthroughs. The biosciences are conducting an unimaginable amount of research in order to create a future where we will no longer be restricted solely to what nature can build, but rather what technologies can custom design for us. My interest lies in the benefits and detriments on the human mind and body as a fusion of technology and biology integrates itself into our culture and begins to change the fabric of our society. I am so fortunate to be able to use Saturated Fit as a platform in order to share my work and hear from other people that are just as passionate about health and wellness as I am.
